DESCRIPTION:Discover the remarkable talents of tomorrow’s leaders at the SPJST State Youth Showcase Saturday\, July 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center in Temple. Admission and parking are free\, and everyone is welcome.\nThis family-friendly event features exhibits and live performances from talented SPJST youth\, ages 4 to 18. Beginning at 9 a.m.\, enjoy singers\, musicians\, actors\, comedians\, and more during the Talent Competition. At 11:30 a.m.\, explore displays of LEGO® builds\, paintings\, photography\, science projects\, handcrafted items\, sweet roll desserts\, and other creative entries.\nVisitors can also support the young creators by purchasing handmade Christmas ornaments for $10 and pans of sweet rolls for $20 while supplies last. Every dollar from those purchases goes directly to the youth who created them.\nThe afternoon concludes with the new SPJST Legacy Leaders Competition\, where high school students compete for the titles of Mr. SPJST and Miss SPJST.
